Job summary

Colas Ltd, a UK subsidiary of Colas Group, is seeking a ZRT Operative to work predominantly nights at Coleshill depot (B46 3HN). You will follow dispatcher instructions to carry out works orders, adhere to safety and permitting requirements, and maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.

Role includes 42-hour week with 4 on/4 off pattern, overtime options, and 20.5 days holiday (incl. bank holidays).

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• HGV Class 2 Licence is required unless coming from a strong Traffic Management background.
• C1E driving experience desirable.
• Traffic Management experience beneficial.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• DCPC and TTMBC qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out temporary highway repairs safely.
• Installing and removing traffic management.
• Operating machinery and equipment.
• Following COSHH and HAVS safety procedures.
• Driving in line with Road Traffic Act regulations.
• Working 4 days on / 4 days off (days, nights & bank holidays).
• Ensure operations are undertaken with safety of staff, visitors and yourself in mind.
• Minimise environmental impact by following regulations.
