Job summary

Driver Hire Manchester is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to cover night shifts in and around South Manchester. The role offers flexible contract terms including full-time, temporary and part-time work with a typical night schedule from 19:30 to 06:00.

The role involves depot-to-depot deliveries, trailer swaps, and following transport team instructions. You will perform daily vehicle checks and complete paperwork as required; CPC and tachograph card, along with a full UK licence and

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive overnight shifts (night driving).
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• Full UK Driving licence and Cat-CE HGV1 licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out depot to depot deliveries and trailer swaps.
• Obey traffic laws and drive safely.
• Maintain regular contact with Transport/Branch Managers.
