Job summary

Resourcing Group is recruiting for HGV Class 1 (Wagon & Drag) drivers in Manchester. Permanent salary £44,304 plus £3,000 annual bonus, plus overtime. 48+ hours per week with 7:00pm starts and full CPC training provided.

Ideal for both newly qualified and experienced drivers; company offers health insurance and regular weekend frees. Trunking between regional depots with some yard duties after each shift.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Commitment to health and safety; willing to undergo tests and checks.

Responsibilities

• Trunking deliveries to a regional depot and returning with a loaded trailer.
• Assist with light yard duties on return to the depot.
• Typical shift from 19:00 to 05:00, Monday to Friday.
• Operate around 6 hour runs and maintain on-time schedules.
• Support a long-term role with ongoing training when needed.
