Job summary

Resourcing Group is recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver for a permanent role in Manchester. The position offers a generous salary (£47,304 base with a £3,000 annual bonus) and a Monday–Friday night shift with guaranteed 48+ hours per week.

Training is provided for both new and experienced drivers. Responsibilities include trunking deliveries, yard duties, and ensuring trailers and vehicles are prepped for the next shift.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) manual licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No DR, DD or IN10 convictions.
• Commitment to health and safety; willing to drug & alcohol test and CRC.

Responsibilities

• Trunking deliveries to a regional depot and return with a loaded trailer.
• Each run typically takes around 6 hours.
• Assist with light yard duties to prepare vehicles and trailers for the next shift.
• Typical shift: 7:00pm – 5:00am.
• Monday to Friday – weekends off.
