Job summary

Driver Hire Manchester is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for delivery work across various sectors. Roles include trunking, general haulage and shunting with flexible start times, Monday to Friday if requested.

Requirements include Cat-C+E, at least one year of Class 1 driving, no more than 6 points, excellent customer service and literacy, with Class 1 entitlement for at least one year. Wages start at £16 per hour with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Cat-C+E licence required.
• Minimum of one year Class 1 driver experience.
• No more than 6 points; no DD/DR/IN/TT convictions.
• Excellent customer service and good literacy.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle safely and legally.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and paperwork.
• Maintain contact with Branch Managers on progress.
