Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for ongoing night work in Gloucester. This role offers regular hours, Monday to Friday nights, and a strong potential for permanent placement through a temp-to-perm pathway.

You'll perform night trunking, depot-to-depot deliveries, complete paperwork, and uphold safety and customer service standards. Applicants must hold a UK Category C+E licence, CPC and Tachograph card, and be comfortable with night shifts and DHR compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence.
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Maximum 9 points for minor endorsements.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours regulations.
• Professional and reliable attitude.
• Ability to work night shifts.
• Strong focus on safety and customer service.
• New Pass Drivers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Night trunking and depot-to-depot deliveries
• Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
• Minimal manual handling
• Conducting daily vehicle checks
• Completing delivery and transport paperwork accurately
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy
• Adhering to Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
