Job summary

Countrystyle Recycling Limited is hiring a Class 1 HGV Driver to operate across London and the South East, delivering and collecting waste responsibly while maintaining high safety and service standards.

The role requires a clean LGV C+E licence, DQC, and strong communication. You will work from depots in Kent, London and the South East, wear the company uniform, and complete daily vehicle checks and documentation.

Qualifications

• Full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence with no more than 3 penalty points and no DR/TT in last five years.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) is essential.
• Excellent communication and geography knowledge of London and the South East.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks and use defect sheets.
• Ensure CCTV cameras on the vehicle are working and report defects.
• Complete all allocated work within the day and submit paperwork on time.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers and wear required uniform and PPE.
• Load/unload safely following Safe Working Procedures; secure loads.
• Report accidents/incidents to Fleet Office immediately and de-brief daily.
