Job summary

LondonEnergy is seeking an experienced HGV1 Night Driver to load, collect and transport waste between LE L sites in a safe, compliant manner. The role requires a Class 1/ C+E license, CPC, and tachograph knowledge.

Shift is 18:30–04:45, Monday to Friday, with a strong focus on safety and vehicle maintenance. You will work at Hawley Road Transport Yard in Edmonton, operating both articulated and rigid vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• HGV driving experience and license requirements.
• Night shift readiness and safe driving record.
• Knowledge of tachograph rules and road safety.

Responsibilities

• Load, collect and transport waste between sites safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to tachograph regulations and report vehicle defects.
• Drive safely and report any accidents promptly with evidence.
• Notify the company of any licence infringements.
• Ensure vehicles are refuelled daily and kept clean and roadworthy.
