Job summary

Workchain is seeking a motivated HGV Class 1 Driver for a temporary night-shift role in Tewkesbury. You will drive safely, complete deliveries and collections, perform vehicle checks, ensure loads are secure, and maintain accurate delivery paperwork.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card, and good knowledge of UK roads and regulations. Night shifts offer overtime opportunities and potential progression to permanent positions.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence is required.
• Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card required.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations is important.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Complete planned deliveries and collections.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure loads are secure and delivered in good condition.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Provide professional service at collection and delivery points.
• Follow all road safety, transport and site procedures.
