Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for an established Tamworth operation, offering ongoing night shifts, flexible start times and a straightforward trunking role. You will operate 24 hours, 7 days a week, with RDC and NDC deliveries and no store deliveries.

Candidates must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, with at least six months’ Class 1 experience and no more than six penalty points.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Maximum 6 penalty points.
• Successful completion of a driving assessment is paid.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing night shift work.
• RDC and NDC deliveries.
• No store deliveries.
• No loading/unloading duties; minimal manual handling.
• Various start times; flexible scheduling where possible.
• Regular work for established logistics operation.
