Job summary

The Best Connection is actively seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for an established Tamworth operation that runs 24/7. You will undertake regular night trunking duties with flexible start times and consistent ongoing work.

Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, with a minimum of 6 months’ Class 1 experience and a maximum of 6 penalty points. Night rates apply and shifts are available across weekdays and weekends.

HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers - Tamworth

Up to £22.00 per hour | Ongoing Night Work | Flexible Start Times

The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for an established logistics operation based in Tamworth, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

With regular night work available, excellent rates of pay and straightforward trunking duties, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking for consistent, ongoing work.

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday Nights: £19.37 per hour
• Saturday Nights: £20.17 per hour
• Sunday Nights: £22.00 per hourAny shift starting after 12:01pm will be paid at the applicable night shift rate for the entire shift.

The Role

• Ongoing night shift work.
• RDC and NDC deliveries.
• No store deliveries.

• Various start times available.
• Flexible scheduling where possible to accommodate preferred start times.
• Regular work with an established logistics operation.

Driver Requirements
