Job summary

Kuehne + Nagel is hiring a HGV Class 1 Night Driver (Contract) based at East Midlands Gateway. This full-time role involves night deliveries, trunking with trailers, and frequent deliveries/collections to commercial premises. Training will be provided; ADR license is preferred and may be required for some runs.

Salary is £47,424 per year with weekly pay (£912/week) and overtime opportunities. 26 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension, and training are included.

Qualifications

• Must have safe working practices and a valid HGV license.
• Digital tachograph and CPC card required.
• ADR license preferred; training provided for right candidates.

Responsibilities

• Trunking with trailer swaps and delivering/collecting to commercial premises.
• Ensure loads are strapped and secured per company and legal requirements.
• Handle deliveries for customers and communicate delays or issues promptly.
