Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel at East Midlands Gateway requires a HGV Class 1 ADR Relief Driver for a permanent Day shift. The role covers Class 1 and Class 2 work, with new drivers welcome and additional training to build confidence and mileage.

The position offers a guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime opportunities. ADR deliveries are part of the duties and a current ADR licence is advantageous, though training is available for the right candidates.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, newly qualified drivers welcome.
• Digital tachograph knowledge is required.
• Up-to-date CPC card is required.
• ADR licence preferred, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Trunking with trailer swaps and deliveries/collections to commercial premises.
• Loads must be strapped and secured in line with company and legal requirements.
• Communicate delays or issues promptly to maintain service standards.
• Work on a fixed Day shift as part of the East Midlands Gateway contract.
