Job summary

Sasse Limited is recruiting for a Full-time GSO Shunter/Cleaner/Fueller at Darlington Bus Depot (DL3 0PP) to support Arriva. The role covers shunting, cleaning, fuelling and depot operations, with a 37.5 hour week and a 5pm–1am shift pattern.

Applicants should hold a UK Category B driving licence for at least two years. Training is provided and progression opportunities exist within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (Category B) held for at least 2 years.
• Willing to work 5pm–1am shifts.
• No formal qualifications required.

Responsibilities

• Process the vehicles on their return to the depot.
• Move and manoeuvre vehicles/buses within the depot as directed and park per the plan.
• Maintain cleanliness of buses and facilities, remove waste.
• Perform fuelling tasks as required.
• Conduct visual checks for damage and report issues; ensure windows are closed before wash.
