Sasse Limited is hiring a General Service Operative (Shunter/Cleaner/Fueller) at the Speke Arriva Bus Depot. The role covers vehicle movement, cleaning, fuelling and on-site duties to ensure fleet operations run smoothly.

The position is permanent, 35 hours per week, with a late shift. No formal qualifications are needed as full training is provided, and a company pension scheme and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (B category) held for a minimum of 2 years.
• No formal qualifications are needed; full training provided.
• Willingness to work unsocial hours on the late shift.

Responsabilités

• Process vehicles on return to the depot.
• Move and manoeuvre vehicles/buses within the depot per allocator and parking plan.
• Maintain cleanliness of buses and facilities; waste removal.
• Perform fuelling tasks.
• Conduct visual checks for damage and ensure windows are closed before buses enter the wash.
• Follow strict Health & Safety procedures.
• Carry out additional site duties as a General Service Operative.
• Deliver timely, courteous service on customer sites.
