Job summary

The Zetter in London is seeking a professional for a Night Receptionist role. You will greet and assist guests during late hours, answer inquiries, and support a seamless overnight operation in a boutique hotel setting.

Key responsibilities include check-in/out procedures, safety and security oversight, nightly audits, and clear reporting to day staff. Evening and weekend shifts are required, with a focus on guest comfort and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in night receptionist or similar hospitality role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for guest interactions.
• Ability to stay alert and focused during overnight hours.
• Proactive with guest and security issues and problems solving.

Responsibilities

• Welcome late-arriving guests and assist with check-in procedures.
• Provide information on hotel amenities, policies and safety procedures.
• Monitor security cameras and perform security rounds.
• Handle emergencies and contact authorities as needed.
• Carry out night audit procedures and reconcile daily transactions.
• Troubleshoot front desk or security systems issues.
• Communicate detailed incident reports to day staff.
• Collaborate with night staff to ensure secure operations.
• Adhere to fire, security, food safety, health & safety and hygiene requirements.
