Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Night Shift Flow Room Manager in Daventry to lead a team of Flow Controllers within a highly automated warehouse. You will monitor automation, alarms, and performance data, ensuring effective handovers and liaison with the customer.

Ideal candidates have strong experience with automated warehouses, WMS/WCS systems (JDA/Blue Yonder, WA, IWS/WAMAS), and a strategic mindset for problem-solving in a night-shift setting. On-site role with 5/7 night pattern.

Qualifications

• Must have strong operational knowledge of automated logistics and warehousing.
• Able to work 5 days out of 7, night shift 23:00–07:00.
• Experience with WMS/WCS systems (JDA/Blue Yonder, WA, IWS/WAMAS).

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Flow Controllers.
• Monitor Warehouse Automation screens.
• Monitor alarms and escalate as appropriate.
• Maintain shift log of events, actions and incidents.
• Monitor plant and system status during critical activities.
• Provide trend reports and data on system performance.
• Coordinate with automation supplier on Preventive Maintenance.
• Handover to incoming control room team.
• Act as the bridge between customer and site.
• Data retrieval and analysis responsibilities.
