Job summary

UPP Group Holdings Limited in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Facilities Officer to join our team in a campus residence. The role is permanent, 42 hours per week on a 4-on, 4-off rota with night shifts of 8pm–8am or 10pm–10am across Monday to Sunday.

The salary is £29,355 per annum. The Facilities Officer will support the residence’s management team in providing a secure, student-focused environment in line with the license agreement.

Qualifications

• Must have worked in a similar role and environment.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills are essential.
• Willingness to work additional hours during peak periods such as student arrival/departure weekends.
• Role may require basic disclosure checks (DBS) and vetting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular patrols of the residence and grounds, reporting safety issues.
• Monitor health, safety and maintenance standards within residence and grounds.
• Respond to fire alarm activations and liaise with emergency services.
• Monitor signing in/out of guests, visitors and contractors.
• Complete help desk forms for reactive maintenance and pass to relevant persons.
• Deal with queries and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Complete incident, noise, and accident reports as required.
• Monitor student conduct and report breaches of the Code of Conduct.
