Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Night Engineering Shift Manager in Doncaster for a fast-paced food manufacturing site. You will lead a four-person engineering team, coordinating planned and reactive maintenance to ensure high plant availability and safety.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills, plus proven leadership and production-target prioritisation. This on-site position offers excellent training and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Time-served electrical engineer with NVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent qualification.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to prioritise engineering activities to meet production targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of four multi-skilled engineers to provide safe, efficient maintenance.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance to maximise plant availability.
• Drive engineering standards and support continuous improvement across the site.
• Collaborate with Production, Technical and Hygiene teams for peak performance.
• Produce detailed shift handovers and maintain accurate records.
