Job summary

Lead Nights Engineer required for a Doncaster site within a premier FMCG manufacturing environment. You will head the night engineering team, ensure safe operation of all production equipment, and drive continuous improvement to maximise reliability and performance.

You will oversee preventative maintenance, review activities, manage budgets, and work closely with production to resolve issues swiftly while upholding strict health, safety, and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Strong background in preventative maintenance and reliability initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night shift engineering function and ensure safe, efficient operation of production equipment.
• Drive machinery performance through preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis.
• Review maintenance activities, manage budgets, and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with Production teams to resolve issues promptly with clear site-wide communication.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and engineering regulations.
• Inspire and develop the engineering team to improve performance.
