Job summary
WhatsApp Inc. is seeking an experienced Out-of-Hours Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a busy referral veterinary team in Cambridge. The role focuses on emergency triage, critical care, inpatient nursing, anaesthesia support, and collaboration with surgeons during night shifts.
This position offers an overnight, fast-paced environment with a strong team ethos, generous CPD opportunities, access to modern equipment, and a competitive salary of £37,900 per annum.
Qualifications
- Registered RVN with current practice license.
- Experience in ECC or emergency nursing.
- Confidence in anaesthesia and inpatient care.
- Excellent patient care and clinical nursing skills.
- Strong organisation and communication abilities.
- Calm and efficient under pressure.
- Passion for animal welfare and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Triage emergencies and provide critical care nursing.
- Monitor and care for hospitalised inpatients.
- Provide anaesthesia support and perioperative care.
- Assist veterinarians with emergency procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical standards.
- Deliver compassionate care during out-of-hours periods.
