Job summary

Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Drainage Jetting Operative for night shift near Sleaford, Lincolnshire. This physically active role operates as part of a two-person crew on highway drainage maintenance, Monday to Friday 4pm–2am, with full training provided.

No prior drainage experience is required, but a strong work ethic and reliability are essential. The position offers regular night hours and a temporary-to-permanent path for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Hands-on drainage role requiring physical effort outdoors.
• Two-person crew with HGV Driver support.
• Full training provided; drainage experience not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operating high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear and maintain highway drainage systems.
• Clearing blocked roadside drains and removing debris to maintain water flow.
• Assisting with the operation of specialist drainage vehicles and equipment.
• Carrying out physically demanding, hands-on work in an outdoor environment.
• Working safely and efficiently as part of a two-person crew.
