Job summary

Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting Drainage Jetting Operatives on behalf of a leading infrastructure contractor near Sleaford, Lincolnshire. This night-shift role offers excellent hourly rates, full training, and the potential for permanent employment.

You will operate high-pressure water jetting equipment in a two-person team to clear and maintain highway drainage systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and outdoor manual work.

Qualifications

• Own transport to reach the depot.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear and maintain highway drainage systems.
• Clear blocked roadside drains and remove debris to maintain water flow.
• Assist with operation of specialist drainage vehicles and equipment.
• Carry out physically demanding, hands-on work outdoors.
• Work safely and efficiently as part of a two-person crew.

Drainage Jetting Operative – Night Shift

Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire

Salary: £18.75 – £21.42 per hour (PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 4pm – 2am (average 50 hours per week)

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting Drainage Jetting Operatives on behalf of a leading infrastructure contractor working near Sleaford, Lincolnshire.

This is a physically active, varied role working as part of a two-person team maintaining essential drainage systems across the highways network.

With full training provided, previous drainage experience isn't essential. We're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who enjoy practical outdoor work and are keen to develop specialist skills.

The Role

Working alongside an HGV Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear and maintain highway drainage systems.
• Clearing blocked roadside drains and removing debris to maintain water flow.
• Assisting with the operation of specialist drainage vehicles and equipment.
• Carrying out physically demanding, hands-on work in an outdoor environment.
• Working safely and efficiently as part of a two-person crew.

What We're Looking For

• A strong work ethic and a reliable, practical approach.
• Willingness to undertake physically demanding outdoor work.
• Ability to work night shifts, Monday to Friday.
• Own transport to reach the depot.
• Previous drainage or highways experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Desirable but not essential

• CSCS Card.
• High Pressure Water Jetting certification.
