Job summary

Heler Foods is seeking a Night Dairy Operative to join our Crewe Road, Nantwich site. The role involves delivering the nightly production plan, ensuring food safety, quality and GMP, and maintaining Health & Safety standards during a 12-hour shift.

You will follow all procedures, complete daily records, and support continuous improvement while working within a 4 on/4 off pattern and night hours. Training starts at £12.71/hour with progression to £19.07/hour.

Qualifications

• Basic food hygiene knowledge/experience.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Understanding of HACCP principles.
• Previous dairy or cheese manufacturing experience.
• Further HACCP knowledge or qualifications.
• Experience working within a night shift or manufacturing environment.
• Methodical, detail-focused, and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily manufacturing plan during the 12-hour night shift.
• Follow company procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, product quality, and health & safety.
• Complete daily documentation for quality, training, and H&S records.
• Support waste reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain audit readiness across the department.
