Job summary

OCS is seeking an experienced security professional to join the Operations Control Room in Ipswich on a 4 on 4 off pattern, covering days or nights. You will coordinate incident responses, act as the central point of contact, and liaise with mobile officers, site teams, and clients to ensure accurate recording and timely updates.

The role requires strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to multitask under pressure, with good IT abilities and a focus on detailed

Qualifications

• Must have the Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 vetting.
• Experience in control room, operations, customer service, dispatch, monitoring or security environment is desirable.
• Experience coordinating people, resources or incident responses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage responses to incidents, emergencies, and alarm activations.
• Act as the central point of contact for all operational and security-related matters during your shift.
• Maintain regular communication with mobile response officers, site teams, and clients.
• Record incidents, operational activity, and shift updates accurately within control room systems.
• Provide timely updates and reports to clients regarding site activities and incident responses.
• Monitor operations and ensure compliance with company procedures, policies, and industry standards.
• Support the efficient running of the control room to maintain the highest levels of service delivery.
