DoubleTree by Hilton St. Anne's Manor on the edge of Wokingham is recruiting a Night Porter to join the Truly Talented team. Reporting to the Night Manager, you will greet guests warmly and deliver courteous service throughout the night.

This role is permanent, part-time (30 hours per week) with generous employee discounts, 28 days holiday, meals on shift, free parking, and opportunities for training and progression within a fast-paced hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry.
• Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to understand our guests’ needs to create exceptional service memories.
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision.
• You are a night owl, comfortable working during the night.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• To be totally guest focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach.
• To gain experience in all sections of the front desk department and ensure company and legal requirements are maintained.
• Assist in the general running of the hotel at night and support other departments in setting up for the next day.
• To continuously improve the quality of the hotel's services.
• To undertake night audits and hotel safety checks to make sure everyone in our hotel is safe and looked after.
• To be confident in all aspects of guest relations, receiving and recognising all guests, including those who require special attention.
• To promote the company values and behaviours at all times.
