Job summary

Audley Villages is seeking a Night Porter to safeguard and maintain a welcoming village environment overnight. You will perform security checks, monitor CCTV, respond to emergencies, and support owners and guests with a calm, friendly presence.

You will also help with overnight cleaning, reception duties, and preparing leisure facilities for the following day, working 8pm–8am on a 4-on-4-off pattern. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in night security or hospitality environments.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Ability to stay calm and professional overnight.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular security checks and monitor CCTV.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Provide a warm, professional presence for owners and guests overnight.
• Supervise reception and handle overnight calls and inquiries.
• Identify hazards and report maintenance issues.
• Support owners while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of communal areas.
• Complete overnight cleaning and refuse collection.
• Prepare pool and leisure facilities for the next day.
