Job summary

Hudson Shribman in Basingstoke is seeking a Machine Operator / Press Brake Operator for a permanent night shift. You’ll train to set and operate CNC press brake machinery, learn tooling setup, read engineering drawings, and produce precise sheet metal parts with quality control checks.

Experience in manufacturing or engineering is helpful, but full training will be provided. Overtime opportunities exist, and a secure permanent position is offered with a reputable UK manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Previous press brake experience is not essential.
• Candidates should be practical and mechanically minded.
• Training and development will be provided on CNC press brakes.
• Must have unrestricted right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC press brake machinery.
• Select and set tooling for different jobs.
• Read engineering drawings and job instructions.
• Produce accurate sheet metal components.
• Use measuring equipment and carry out quality checks.
• Work with mild steel, stainless steel and galvanised materials.
• Identify and resolve basic production issues.
