Job summary

Catering in Basingstoke is seeking a Press Brake / Machine Operator for permanent night shift. You’ll train to set and operate CNC press brakes, read drawings, select tooling and produce accurate sheet metal components.

No prior press brake setter experience required; full training and mentorship will develop your skills. You’ll work with Amada and LVD machines, and enjoy overtime, holiday entitlement and a solid benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering or workshop environments is desirable.
• Reading engineering drawings and measuring where required is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC press brake machinery.
• Select tooling for different jobs.
• Read engineering drawings and job instructions.
• Produce accurate sheet metal components.
• Use measuring equipment and perform quality checks.
• Work with mild steel, stainless steel and galvanised materials.
• Identify and resolve basic production issues.
