Job summary

Resourcing Global Solutions is recruiting for a permanent night shift Press Brake / Machine Operator position in Basingstoke. The role includes full training to become a CNC Press Brake Operator, set and operate machinery, and perform quality checks on sheet metal components.

The successful candidate will have some manufacturing or workshop experience and be practical, reliable and keen to learn. Overtime is available with enhanced rates and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering or workshop environments preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings or job instructions is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and develop CNC press brake skills.
• Proactive, practical and mechanically minded with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC press brake machinery.
• Select and set tooling for different jobs.
• Read engineering drawings and job instructions.
• Produce accurate sheet metal components and conduct quality checks.
• Use measuring equipment and carry out QA checks.
• Work with mild steel, stainless steel and galvanised materials.
• Identify and resolve basic production issues.
