JOB TITLE: Night Cleaning Operative

LOCATION: 1 Chaseside, Bournemouth

WORKING HOURS: 40 HOURS PER WEEK

SHIFT PATTERN: 21:00 - 06:00, Monday to Friday

PAY RATE: £12.88 PER HOUR

OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking experienced cleaning operatives with great attention to detail. ABM uniforms will be provided and must be worn at all times.

Responsibilities include carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties as directed by the manager or supervisor.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Washrooms, toilets, showers, maintaining standards, topping up consumables
• Hard floor cleaning, spot cleaning, spillages
• Carpet spot cleaning, vacuuming
• Cleaning kitchenettes, seating areas, restaurant tables and floors, waste removal
• Reception, lifts, entrance doors, general maintenance
• Dusting, maintaining standards in corridors, stairs, meeting rooms, offices
• Touch point cleaning
• Laundry duties as required
• Carpet cleaning using carpet machine
• Scrubbing hard floors with rotary machine or scrubber dryer

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Smart, clean appearance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive, 'can do' attitude
• Experience with rotary machines or scrubber dryers is an advantage

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Punctuality, trustworthiness, keen eye for detail
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Successful candidates will undergo background and security checks, including criminal and credit checks, and must provide proof of eligibility before starting
