A leading company in professional Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance services is seeking a Cleaning Operative for a static site in New Milton. The role involves various cleaning tasks from dusting to mopping floors, with working hours from 6pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday. Candidates should have previous cleaning experience and be IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, and window sills.
• Mop floors and hoover carpeted areas.
• Empty waste bins and replenish consumable items.

Job description

We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative for one of our static sites in New Milton, BH25.

• Monday to Friday
• 6pm - 9pm
• 3 hours per day
• £12.21 per hour

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in cleaning environment is essential
• IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps)
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)

Core Responsibilities - Cleaning Operative / Cleaner:

• Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
• Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
• Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
• Hoovering of carpeted areas
• Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
• Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
• Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels (if contractual)
• Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks
