Job summary

Amey is seeking a Class 2 Driver – Street Cleaning to join our on-site team at Olive Grove Depot (S2 3GE) in Sheffield. This night-shift role runs 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Thursday, 7pm–3:30am, with potential flexible patterns.

You will sweep pavements and roadways, collect litter, remove detritus, graffiti and waste, and assist with gritting in adverse weather. All tasks follow Health and Safety rules and Amey procedures; training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence required.
• CPC qualification required.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Sweep pavements, gutters and roadways using hand tools or sweepers.
• Collect litter and ensure proper disposal.
• Remove detritus, graffiti and fly tipping from the highway network.
• Maintain roads, pavements and street furniture to a high standard.
• Participate in gritting and snow clearance during adverse weather.
• Report issues via the appropriate channels and follow safety procedures.
