Job summary

Booker Group is recruiting for Class 1 Night Trunking Drivers to join our Transport Team at our Booker Retail Partner site. You will be responsible for the safe and professional transportation of stock between sites as part of our night trunking operation, a trunking role rather than a multi-drop delivery position.

The role operates on a rotating two-week shift pattern with weekly variations and includes occasional warehouse duties every few weeks to support the wider operation.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Professional approach to driving and transport operations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to undertake driving and warehouse duties as part of the rotating pattern.
• Previous trunking experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Transport stock between sites as part of the night trunking operation.
• Operate as part of a trunking team rather than a multi-drop delivery role.
• Rotate through warehouse duties approximately every five weeks.
• Support wider operation with a mix of warehouse and manual handling tasks.
