Booker is recruiting for Class 1 Night Trunking Drivers to join our Transport Team at our Booker Retail Partner site. This role involves safe transport of stock between sites, with a night trunking focus and occasional warehouse duties within a rotating pattern.

We're recruiting for Class 1 Night Trunking Drivers to join our Transport Team at our Booker Retail Partner site.
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and professional transportation of stock between sites as part of our night trunking operation. This is a trunking role rather than a multi-drop delivery position.

Working Pattern

The role operates on a rotating two-week shift pattern:

• Week 1: Monday to Friday
• Week 2: Sunday to Friday, with Thursday as the rest day

The pattern then rotates on an ongoing basis.
As part of the role, drivers will also rotate through warehouse duties approximately once every five weeks. This provides support to the wider operation and will involve a mixture of warehouse and manual handling duties. We’re recruiting for Class 1 Night Trunking Drivers to join our Transport Team at our Booker Retail Partner site.

You Will Need

• A valid Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A professional approach to driving and transport operations

• The ability to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to undertake both driving and warehouse duties as part of the rotating work pattern
• Previous trunking experience is advantageous but not essential
