Job summary

Claridge’s, part of Maybourne Hotel Group, seeks a dedicated Night Chef for Muse to lead the night kitchen and maintain the highest culinary standards. You will work under the Head Chef, ensuring precise service and quality during night hours, with responsibilities spanning prep, cooking, and station care.

Colleague Restaurant - Muse

Muse, our colleague restaurant, is a place of rest and retreat for our colleagues during a busy working day. Every service in Muse supports the smooth running of the wider hotel and reflects the same high standards of care and hospitality offered to our guests. As part of the team, your role is defined by purpose, teamwork and the satisfaction of contributing to the hotel’s excellence from behind the scenes.

As Night Chef you will be responsible for:

• Representing the Head Chef during the night shift.
• The preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times and food is served in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that the kitchen areas, equipment and utensils are kept clean and tidy to the standards required by the hotel.
• Assisting the Breakfast Chef with the mise-en-place and production of the breakfast menus.
• Cleaning and tidying the front of the house areas and plate racks, coffee stations after night service and cleaning the food line in preparation for breakfast service.

Successful candidates for our Night Chef opportunity will:

• Have worked in a similar role, within a five star or fine dining environment.
• Have a passion for food and beverage with excellent knowledge.
• Be confident in leading, supporting and motivating a team.
• Be a team player who is an avid learner who wants to be challenged and developed.
• Have a thorough understanding of Forbes and LQA Standards.
