BaxterStorey is seeking a Night Chef de Partie for a dynamic, contract catering environment in Gateshead. You will bring creativity, precision, and pride to the kitchen during night service, handling station management, food prep, and quality control with a focus on HACCP standards.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate (£13.99) and a structured night and day shift, with extensive training and progression opportunities within a supportive team.

Formación

• Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or similar role.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Works according to the BaxterStorey core values.

Responsabilidades

• Food Preparation – prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards; ensure food safety.
• Station Management – oversee production at your station and keep your area clean and stocked.
• Quality Control – maintain high quality, presentation and taste.
• Team Collaboration – communicate effectively with all team members.
• Menu Development – collaborate with head chef to develop and taste new recipes.
• Cleaning and Maintenance – maintain cleanliness and ensure equipment is in good working order.
