Job summary

Sodexo Live! is hiring a Night Chef for Cathay Pacific Terminal 3 Heathrow Airport. 40 hours a week with a night shift (10pm–6am). This casual role will become permanent upon obtaining an airside pass. You must be able to provide a 5-year checkable work history for airport clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience as Commi Chef or Kitchen Assistant in busy environments.
• Able to work nights (10pm–6am).

Responsibilities

• Work with kitchen team to provide food that meets quality, cost, and safety standards.
• Prepare, assemble, and cook assigned dishes for high-quality service.
• Provide high-quality service to customers per client agreement.
• Adhere to health and food safety standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Working alongside the kitchen team, you will be part of a dynamic group that aims to provide food that not only exceeds our guest expectations in flavour, substance and presentation, but is also in line with agreed company & legal standards
• Ensure that the food costs of the business are well managed by minimising waste
• To prepare, assemble, and cook all assigned menu dishes, providing high-quality dishes for the customer and client
• Provide high-quality service to customers in line with a food service offer agreed with the client
• Adhere and monitor all health and food safety, in a proactive way

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as Commi Chef or Kitchen Assistant, who has worked in busy and fast paced work environment
• Calm and patient under pressure
• Able to work within a very busy lounge and stressful environment
• Overall, a passion for food
• Demonstrative customer focus and service skills
