Job summary

OSJCT Group is seeking a Night Care Assistant for Old Station House in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The role involves supporting residents during night hours, assisting with personal care and daily routines, and helping maintain a respectful, safe environment.

Two positions are available: 30 hours per week and 25 hours per week, with shifts 9:30pm–7:30am, Monday to Friday and alternating weekends. Induction and development opportunities are provided as part of joining our team.

Qualifications

• Willingness to train and develop in care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care and support residents with washing and bathing.
• Assist with daily routines and mobility as needed.
• Support residents with toilet use and hygiene.
• Foster a warm, respectful and safe living environment.

Night Care Assistant

Location: Old Station House, Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Pay Rate: £14.85 Per Hour (NVQ & Weekend Enhancements Available)

Contracted Hours: 2 x Positions Available

1 x 30 hours per week

1 x 25 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 9:30pm - 7:30am Monday-Friday & Working alternate weekends

Old Station House is a beautiful home offering exceptional residential and early-stage dementia care in the heart of the bustling town of Abingdon. The home compromises of spacious and individual apartments for 43 residents.

We are looking for you to work as a care assistant making a real difference to our residents lives every day. Along with supporting daily routines and personal care (washing, bathing, supporting toilet use) we are looking for the right people to genuinely care for our residents and create a happy fulfilled life for them. Some days may be challenging but you will laugh, have fun and make lasting memories. You’ll become part of our extended family too, bringing kindness, exceptional care and dignity to our care homes.

We are looking for both experienced carers and those that are new to care to build our teams with diverse people who can bring all sorts of life experience to the job. We provide induction training and support, with ongoing development opportunities for you to really build a career with us.
