Job summary

Housing 21 is seeking a compassionate Care Worker for night shifts in Felixstowe, Suffolk. You’ll support residents in their independent living schemes with daily tasks, meals, personal care and wellbeing, while building strong relationships with the Extra Care community.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with household and domestic tasks (laundry, shopping, cleaning, financial transactions).
• Prepare meals, drinks and snacks as needed.
• Encourage residents to follow care plans and participate in activities.
• Assist with getting up, personal care (washing/bathing, dressing) and evening routines; support with medication as required.
• Prioritise resident wellbeing and communicate progress to managers and agencies.
