Job summary

The Lakes in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Night Care Leader to join our care homes. You will lead a small team of carers, supervise wakeful nights, review care plans, and ensure accurate records while supporting residents' wellbeing.

You should hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or NVQ Level 2 with intent to study for Level 3) and have proven leadership, excellent communication, and a compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or NVQ Level 2 with willingness to study for NVQ Level 3.
• Experience leading a team to deliver care.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive role model.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of carers during night shifts and maintain a wakeful, secure environment for residents.
• Review and update care plans; ensure records are accurate and up to date.
• Manage time and workload for you and your team to support residents’ wellbeing.
• Motivate and support staff through training and development opportunities.
