Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support worker is essential.
• Full training and mentoring is provided.
• Candidates should be patient, understanding and respectful of residents’ abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading, managing and supporting the care team to ensure high-quality care.
• Regular review of care plans and continuous assessment and evaluation of residents’ care.
• Engaging with residents respectfully and adjusting communication to individual needs.
• Administering and recording medication as prescribed with accurate monitoring.
• Maintaining residents’ dignity and independence, promoting quality of life.
• Encouraging residents to participate in daily living discussions and activities.
• Assisting with personal care where necessary.
