Job summary

Scottish Borders Council is seeking a Relief Night Support Worker for St Ronan's Residential Home in Innerleithen. The role is casual/relief, providing person-centred practical and emotional support to residents as outlined in individual care plans.

Responsibilities include promoting residents' health and well-being, assisting with personal care, meals, mobility, and safe medication administration. PVG Adults and SSSC registration are supported.

Qualifications

• SVQ2 or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
• PVG Adults - we will do this for you! SSSC registered.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred practical and emotional support to empower the people we care for, as outlined in individual support plans.
• Promote the health and well-being of the people we support and ensure their needs are met in an inclusive way.
• Support, enable and involve service users in all aspects of their lives, including personal care, eating, drinking, and mobility if necessary.
• Be responsible for the safe administration of Service Users' medication, following relevant training.
