Job summary

Cygnet is seeking a confident Care & Support Worker to help residents at Dove Valley Mews. You’ll work full time (42 hours), 12-hour shifts with alternate weekends, including nights, delivering person-centred care to adults with complex needs.

You’ll support independence, wellbeing and community access while maintaining a safe environment and reporting welfare needs. DBS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support roles is preferred.
• Good communication with residents, families and colleagues.
• DBS check (enhanced) is required or will be completed before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced care and support with a person-centred approach.
• Offer physical and emotional support and guidance to service users.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report findings.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and promote wellbeing.
• Support access to community activities, work, education and leisure.
