West London Mental Health Trust is seeking a Health Care Support Worker to join the Adult Community Nursing Service, Night Nursing, at Clayponds Hospital. The role covers 21 hours per week across 7 days, with 19:00–07:00 shifts, on a fixed-term 6-month contract to cover maternity.

Training and mentorship will be provided for clinical skills. The post requires an excellent communicator capable of working within a team, with flexibility to support service redesign and future shift changes.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Compassionate toward patients and families.
• Duties may include handling clinical tasks under supervision.

Aufgaben

• Carry out clinical duties and basic clinical skills as required by the service.
• Undertake training and competence assessment with mentor support.
• Report changes in a patient’s condition promptly to the registered nurse.
• Liaise with other health care and multi-agency workers for a multi-disciplinary approach.
• Communicate with patients at a level appropriate to their needs to promote positive health.
