Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle in Reigate is seeking a Night Care Supervisor to lead a small team of care assistants and inspire high standards of resident care in our luxury care and nursing home. You will supervise shifts, conduct supervisions, and ensure care plans are followed with vigilance and warmth.

The role is full-time night shifts (19:15–07:15), 36 hours per week, with a salary of £15.45–£17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team of care staff.
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent is preferred.
• Medication administration qualification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide a small team of care assistants, organising the team and leading by example.
• Help them develop through regular supervisions, one to ones and annual performance reviews.
• Monitor and review residents care plans, ensuring they are adhered to by all team members.
• Ensure residents' daily progress is recorded and reported accurately.
• Perform care assistant duties with residents as required.
• Keep a cool head and take the lead when staff or residents need help, such as in the event of an emergency.
