Job summary

Angelcare UK Limited is seeking an experienced Night Care Team Leader to oversee our out-of-hours care service. You will be the primary on-site leader during the night, ensuring safe operations and high standards of care.

In this role, you will supervise night care staff, conduct supervisory checks, mentor team members, and handle escalations or safeguarding concerns outside office hours. You'll report morning handovers to the registered manager and daytime team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading night care teams.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and care standards.
• Ability to perform supervisory checks and escalations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise night care staff on shift, ensuring policy and care plan compliance.
• Conduct out-of-hours spot checks of attendance, timekeeping, PPE, and client care.
• Provide on-shift support and escalate/safeguard as needed.
• Provide morning handover reports and shift logs to management.
• Provide hands-on care during shortages or complex situations when required.
