Job summary

Alderbrook Care Home in Leeds is part of Willinbrook Healthcare, the specialist complex care division of Care Concern Group. We are seeking a Care Assistant to provide safe, person-centred care to residents with complex needs, including dementia and mental health conditions, within a supportive team.

The role involves following care plans, supporting structured routines, and maintaining dignity and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Calm, patient and resilient attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a complex care environment.
• NVQ2 in Health & Social Care or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with complex needs including dementia and mental health.
• Follow care plans and structured routines to promote dignity and wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships and respond to changes in behaviour or wellbeing.
• Deliver care safely and consistently as part of a team.
