Job summary

LV Care Group is seeking a Complex Needs Support Worker for night shifts in Jersey. You will join the CI Home Care department to provide high-quality care, collaborate with a wider care team, and support Service Users in line with their Care Plans.

The role requires caring, patient individuals with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to follow procedures, safeguarding policies, and maintain dignity and privacy at all times.

Qualifications

• No formal qualification required, but a Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
• Level 3 RQF Medication Unit is required to undertake tasks involving medication.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain dignity and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a care team to deliver high-quality care and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of Service Users.
• Support Service Users with personal care and independence per the care plan.
• Assist with medication administration when required.
• Respond to health changes and report deterioration appropriately.
