Job summary

LV Care Group is seeking a Complex Needs Support Worker for Twilight Shifts in Jersey. You will provide compassionate care, support personal care, assist with medication where trained, and help Service Users with daily activities, budgeting and community involvement.

The role offers part-time and zero-hour opportunities with a focus on maintaining dignity and quality of life in line with Care Plans.

Qualifications

• RQF Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable or equivalent.
• Level 3 RQF Medication Unit is required for medication administration tasks.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Organisational skills, time management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to Service Users as part of a care team.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of Service Users.
• Support Service Users with personal care and independence according to Care Plans.
• Liaise with Health Care professionals to ensure high care standards.
• Assist with medication administration where required, as per policy.
• Engage in activities to support daily living, budgeting, shopping, and community travel.
• Attend training, supervise and participate in audits as needed.
